Narva, Estonia

Today we went to Castle Herman in Narva, Estonia. This castle was built in the 15th century and has been beautifully restored. It is right on the Estonia-Russia border and directly across the river from the Herman Castle is a Russian Castle. It was very beautiful in spite of the cold weather. We hiked up the 7 stories in the tower and was able to see a lot from the top.

We after leaving the castle we stopped at a gas station called Statoil that has these "French" hot dogs. They were so good! They are foot long hot dogs wrapped in a warmed tube of French bread with brown mustard and ketchup. Very unique and well loved by the Estonians.

Tomorrow we will head to Russia at the early hour of 6 am. We will get there some time around noon just in time for some lunch:)

I will try to post while in Russia but I'm not sure if we will be able to get Internet there.
